Peter Ball

Peter is a Chartered Accountant, with nearly 40 years in the professional services sector, initially in international and national auditting, followed by the last 30 years in management consulting. He was a Partner with KPMG for 25 years, where he also held senior roles, including National Leader of Strategic Planning and Economic Development, and National Partner for Finance and Operations of Government Advisory Practice.

Most of Mr Ball's work involves providing strategic, economic, commercial and business improvement advice to enable organisations to make fully informed business decisions.

During his management consulting career Mr Ball has worked across a number of industries including tourism and leisure, gaming and wagering, arts and sports, and state and local governments.

Mr Ball has an entrepreneurial spirit and has also been involved with a number of start-ups focusing on property, education, gaming and pharmaceuticals. Actively involved in the community and not-for-profit sector, Peter was a Director of Alzheimer's Queensland for over 10 years.
